On-hire survey / Off-hire condition survey is to report the vessel's general condition prior to vessel being delivered by the owners to charterers or re-deliverered by the charterers to owners. This report will determine the condition of the vessel prior to delivery and to avoid any claims that will caused when vessel is being re-delivered back to owners. It is very important for a client, when hiring a vessel, to limit their liability by ensuring they know the general condition of the vessel before taking over the vessel. Quantity of fuel onboard also matters when taking/handing over a vessel. It is important to quantify the bunker onboard prior to delivery/redelivery and we provide licensed bunker surveyor for the ROB fuel onboard. |
